Want to travel the worlds great mountain ranges and work doing something you love? Become a ski instructor in 3 weeks and walk straight into a paying job. Join our ski instructor internship course and get paid to teaching skiing. We are now taking applications for 2016.
As part of our on going commitment to share our love for skiing with as many people as possible, we have put together a fantastic new internship course. Designed for those who want to set themselves up with a career in snow sports. This course is also the perfect way get paid on your Gap Year or do something different on your career break.
Guaranteed Job
Training with our professional coaching staff you will work towards the Canadian Ski Instructor's Alliance Level 1 Qualification. Over 3 weeks, you'll ski 5 hours a day 5 days per week with our world class team and get free time at the weekends to ski, relax and explore. In the last 3 days of the course you'll sit your ski instructor exams. Upon successful completion you'll walk straight into a job as a ski instructor the following Monday!
Accommodation for the season
We take care of everything for you on the first 3 weeks of your season. Quality centrally located hotel accommodation will allow you to get your bearings and take in all the fantastic amenities and vibrant night life that Jasper has to offer.
When you successfully qualify as a ski instructor and start work, there's no need to worry about where you'll stay. Marmot Basin has plenty of staff accommodation and you'll either be moved to a house or cosy apartment. Staff accommodation is greatly subsidised and works on a pay as you earn system – so no costly up front bills.
Breakfast and Dinner 7 days a week!
During your training, we want you to concentrate on what matters – passing your ski instructor certification and having a great time doing it. That's why we include both breakfast and dinner 7 days a week during your 3 week course.
On going professional Development
Just because you qualified as a ski instructor, it doesn't mean the story stops there. Once a member of the Marmot Basin snow sports team you can attend daily training sessions to hone your skills. With a training session on offer almost every day, your skiing ability will sky rocket. By attending these sessions and teaching throughout the season, you will be in a great position to take your CSIA Level 2 qualification by the end of the season.
