In the 2021 season, the International Experience Canada (IEC) selection process is more challenging than in previous years. For the chance of receiving an invite to apply for an IEC visa, candidates must have an official job offer secured, from a registered Canadian business.

As official recruiters, Simply Snowsports will help the right candidates gain employment from one of our mountain resort partners, along with a job offer to support their IEC application.

Our mountain partners have a range of positions available. In general, jobs in ski resorts require the following key skills:

• Eligible to apply for the Canadian IEC (International Experience Canada) Visa
• Professional deportment with excellent customer service skills
• Cheerful, outgoing personality
• Able to work outside in varying weather conditions
• Strong team member able to take direction
• Motivated and observant; able to perceive needed tasks and complete them without direction
• Self-aware; able to identify strengths and gaps in own abilities and training
• Able to use taught skills and previous experience to problem solve
• Interest in recreational mountain pursuits, such as skiing/snowboarding, rock climbing, ski touring, hiking, and mountain biking
• An intermediate ski or snowboarding ability (some roles) - learn to ski or snowboard packages can be purchased from Simply Snowsports.
