Food

During your course, we want you to concentrate on becoming an awesome skier and teacher. That’s why we provide dinner and breakfast 7 days a week for the first three weeks of the internship. Breakfast is often on the mountain on training days, and in town on rest days.

Dinner is specially prepared for the Internship crew by chefs at local restaurants. The menu is varied, and the quality is high. We cater for all dietary requirements.

Staff Accommodation

When you sign up for an internship with Simply Snowsports, your staff housing will be pre-arranged before you fly to Canada. Accommodations in ski resorts are always limited, at a premium, and often have long waiting lists, but you don’t have to worry, as your place will already be secured in the summer.

After your first 3 weeks of training and living in the hotel, you’ll move straight into staff lodging, and it’s at that point you’ll start paying for your own rent and food. Rent is usually around $23 to $24 CAD per day, or $690 to $750 per month.

If you are planning on upgrading to level 2 training in January, we recommend saving up a month's rent and food before the course, as you won't be able to work as much when you are skiing (training) all day, 5 days a week!

IEC visa

As there is a guaranteed job offer, you’ll need a work permit and/or the legal right to work in Canada. Our in-house visa expert will support you through your application.

We have 15 years of experience helping people with their visa, and decades of sorting out our own (we are all instructors too!).
